Description
ANEERAB DSR (Domperidone + Rabeprazole)
This combination medication is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), commonly known as acid reflux, and peptic ulcer disease.
Uses
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD): Helps manage acid reflux by reducing stomach acid and improving stomach motility.
- Peptic ulcer disease: Promotes healing of ulcers by lowering acid production in the stomach.
How it works
- Domperidone (Prokinetic agent): Enhances the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping food pass through the stomach more easily and reducing the likelihood of reflux.
- Rabeprazole (Proton pump inhibitor – PPI): Decreases stomach acid production, providing relief from indigestion, heartburn, and promoting ulcer healing.
